For flooring installers
Every house that sells near you is standing on a floor its owners will replace.
A worn carpet or a sheet vinyl floor is easy to spot, and easy to picture gone. We show the new owners their own room with your floor in it, the furniture where it is, no rug hiding the work.
From 100 dollars a week for 20 cards. Everything included. Cancel any time.

01 · We read the house
We read the room the way you would.
02 · Reserved to you
Reserved to you. For good.
Sample house · Sold 3 days ago · Built 1987 · Living room
When a house near you sells, we read its listing facts room by room for the signs your trade replaces.
1234signs your trade replaces
4 of 4 signs. Then we score the house for your kind of work, and it is reserved to you only if it clears your floor.
Hardwood and vinyl plank are one kind of work, so a house reserved to you is never mailed by another flooring firm.
One firm per house and kind of work. Once your card is mailed, that house can never go to another firm in your trade.
03 · Finished in your style
The same floors, finished your way.
Pick a style. The walls, windows and layout stay put. Only your work changes.

04 · Your card
Your logo. Your number. Their room.
Set in real type from what you approve, so a phone number never comes out wrong.
04 · Your card
6 by 9 inches. First-Class.
The back says what you do and carries a plain note that both pictures are illustrations.
05 · Into the mail
Then it goes in the mail.
First-Class, to the house that sold, expected in 2 to 7 business days. We say expected, never "delivered": no mailbox has a scanner, so nobody can honestly tell you the moment a card lands.

Day 5 to 10 · Your phone
And your phone rings.
It rings your own number.
One local tracking number, issued when your campaign goes live and printed on every card. It rings the phone you already carry.
You know before you say hello.
Pick up and you hear "Plankwise Floors, this is a call from your postcard campaign." Then the caller is put through.
Every call is logged.
Number, time and length land on your dashboard, matched to the house that got your card when we can.
Recording stays off unless you switch it on, and callers are told first.
Calls
Every call to the tracking number printed on your cards, matched back to the house that got the card when we can.
Example calls. Every name and number here is fictional.
The species board
Your wood, your pattern, their room.
Pick the species, the lay and the width. The planks re-lay on the board, and their living room follows the wood.
Your card's back carries this species board with your floor marked. White oak, walnut and grey vinyl plank are rendered rooms; hickory and maple are a quick color preview.
Your card, up close
Front and back, every corner working.
The species board: five woods and finishes, theirs marked. A 6 by 9 inch card with First-Class postage, set from what you approve, a picture on both faces and no empty corner.

The numbers
One whole floor (main level) pays for 24 weeks of cards.
Every number here is borrowed from a published source and labelled with it. None of them is a promise, and we never quote a call rate, because nobody has measured one for this product yet.
Prepared for flooring installers
| One typical whole floor (main level) | 8,000 dollars |
|---|---|
| Gross profit at a 30% margin | 2,400 dollars |
| Cards that pays for, at 5.00 each | 480 cards |
| Weeks of the 20 card plan | 24 weeks |
Borrowed: a typical whole floor (main level) and a planning margin from published flooring cost guides (main level). Derived: our arithmetic. We have not measured how many cards turn into a job, so this is only the point where one job covers the cards. One room leaves about 600 dollars, which does not cover the smallest plan. This is for firms whose typical job is a whole floor.
Year one in a new house
Buyers of existing homes spend about 5.1 times what owners who stayed spend on flooring.
Borrowed: NAHB special study, Spending Patterns of Home Buyers, 2022, from federal Consumer Expenditure Survey data, 2017 to 2020.
46% of recent buyers bought flooring for the house they moved into, against 29% for the one they sold. And a floor is easier to replace before the furniture arrives.
Exclusive · Floors
Reserved, for good.
One house. One kind of work. One firm.
Hardwood and vinyl plank are one kind of work, so a house reserved to you is never mailed by another flooring firm.
Never sold to
- Another flooring firm
- A hardwood installer
- A vinyl plank installer
May still mail it
- A painter, a kitchen or bathroom firm
They sell a different kind of work, so we say so up front.
Enforced by our database, not by a promise in an email: one live holder per house and kind of work, and a house whose card has been mailed is never released to anyone else.
Questions floors ask
Straight answers.
A person reads every message. If yours is not here, ask it on the sample card form below.
01Can I get the buyer's name and number?
No, and we never will: we do not sell lists. The card goes to the new owners at the house with your number on it, so the call they make is to you.
02Will there be enough houses near me?
Maybe not, and we will say so. Floors qualify fewer houses than most trades we serve, so we count the houses that sold near you before you pay. If your area cannot fill a plan, we tell you.
03Carpet jobs?
There is no carpet service. Worn carpet is what qualifies a house for your hardwood or vinyl plank card.
04Tile floors?
Not today. The finished picture is plank flooring, hardwood or vinyl.
05Do you know the square footage?
The listing's total area is public, but the card quotes no price and no size. You measure and price the job.
06What gets skipped?
Recent hardwood, engineered wood and plank floors. A stager's rug can hide a floor, so every card is checked against the listing before it prints.
07Can my co-op money pay for it?
Some manufacturer co-op programs name direct mail and postcards as eligible once the vendor approves. We are not pre-approved with any program today, so check yours first.
08Will another flooring firm mail it?
Never. Hardwood and vinyl plank are one kind of work, so a house reserved to you is never mailed by another flooring firm.
